COVID-19 Updates

We at Spring Branch Veterinary Hospital have been keeping a close eye on the developments of COVID-19. The health of our employees, clients, and patients are our biggest priority. We will remain open to care for patients In need of medical attention.

For the safety of our staff we will be implementing a temporary CURB SIDE or DROP OFF only policy starting March 23, 2020.  Call us when you arrive for your appointment at 830-438-7800. We will come outside and get your pet and discuss your pet’s treatment plan with you. Only pets will be allowed inside the hospital, not clients. We will bring your pet  back outside after the examination and treatment. Exceptions will be made only for few circumstances. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you this is only a temporary measure to protect clients as well as staff. We appreciate your patience.

To minimize nonessential visits, our priority for the months of March and April will be on pets needing medical attention. Wellness visits and elective surgeries may need to be deferred. This is both to minimize nonessential visits and to preserve supplies for human hospitals.  We apologize for this inconvenience. We assure you we continue to make sure your pet’s health is of utmost importance.

We enforce a stringent cleaning and sanitizing protocol to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff, clients, and pets.

To help minimize the community spread of COVID-19, over the next 8 weeks, we respectfully ask the following of our clients:

-Please disinfect your hands before arriving at our hospital

-If you are currently sick, have had recent symptoms in the last 48 hours, or are caring for someone who is sick, we ask that you not come to the hospital. If your pet is in need of medical attention please call us and we will determine the best course of action to help your pet.

-We ask that clients who have traveled outside the country refrain from visiting the hospital for 14 days.

-Please maintain a safe distance from other clients and staff.
